Tu “Angela” Thanh Thi Lam was born on April 17th, 1968 in Saigon, Vietnam. A daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and mother, Tu played a role in many of our lives. At the age of 55, she passed away in Snohomish, Washington.
Growing up, she was known as a sweet yet fearless girl who was protective of her siblings and friends. Shortly after the war, alongside her family, she left her home country of Vietnam to start her life in the United States. Settling in Renton, Washington, she met her husband of 29 years and started her family. Later moving to Monroe, Washington, Angela spent her days working at the nail salon, making memories with her friends, and caring for her family. Angela was deeply loved by her family and friends. But will now be remembered by the community that surrounds her.
She touched the lives of many, and her death was a shock to all. She will be remembered as the kind-hearted woman who made us laugh and lent a shoulder to cry on. In her remembrance, a funeral service will be held on March 5th and March 6th at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Renton, WA.
