Arlene Pritchard, formerly from the Renton area, died on November 15 in Vancouver, WA. She was 93.
Arlene was born and raised in Spokane, graduating from Rogers High School in 1944. She then attended Washington State College, where she met her future husband, Doug Pritchard. They were married in 1948.
After Doug graduated, they moved to Renton, built a home in Lakeridge and raised a family. They have 3 children: Craig, Tracie and Tod.
In 1982, after her children were grown and two of them had graduated from college, Arlene completed her education and received her Associate in Applied Science Degree in Medical Assisting from Highline Community College. She was 56. Arlene went on to work in her field for the next 10 years.
Arlene was active throughout her life in her church and community. She was a member of the PEO Sisterhood. Health and wellness were always important, including daily walks and good nutrition. She enjoyed painting (both watercolor and oil), cooking, skiing, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Arlene is survived by her son, Craig, and his wife Joy Lee, and her daughter, Tracie Unterwegner, and husband Tim. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

The inurnment for Arlene will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 1:00PM. It will be officiated by The Rev. Kevin Pearson of St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
