Margaret Aline Peerson

Beloved Mother and Grandmother - Born September 6, 1933 to Malcolm and Agnes Gilman in Bower, South Dakota.  Passed away October 5, 2020.

Graduated from Fargo High School in 1950, worked at Amour Meat Company in Fargo, Renton School District and for many years, Sears in Renton retiring from the Cashier Office balancing the cash.

Mom met Dad in Fargo North Dakota and were married there October 4, 1953.  Dad joined the Army and they were stationed in Seward Alaska for a time, returning to Fargo.    In 1959 they ventured out West to find good jobs and settled first in Kent and then Renton.  Dad was driving the truck with all of their belongings and Mom was driving the family car with 4 year old Judy and 2 year old David.  Jeffrey was born in Seattle,  January 1960.   She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed camping, traveling, gardening and most of all, her family.  Mom and Dad had 10 happy years together in Retirement, before his passing in 2001 and traveled in their motorhome and flew to various location; back to Fargo at least once a year.   She loved to ski and did into her late 60s.  She was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church in Renton.

She is survived by her sons David (Karen), Jeff (Pam) and daughter Judy (Craig); six grandchildren, Stefanie (Branden), Tyler (Nicole), Christopher, Spencer, Alexander and Natalie.  Four Great-grandchildren,  Noah, Jack, Delilah and Layne.   Survivors include three sisters, Louise, Ann and Sharon and her favorite brother Scott.   Also, sister-in-law Ardys Peerson Olgaard, several cousins and extended family.   Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floyd and her parents and two sisters.

A  family graveside service has been held due to the current COVID situation.  We will miss you and love you forever Mom.
